Upland Bird Hunting

Our upland bird hunting opportunities consist of Pheasant and Chukal. Our state of the art facilities and hunting fields ensure to give you the highest quality birds to hunt and a hunting experience you will never forget! We offer fully guided upland bird hunting, or non-guided hunts. Hunters are welcome to bring their own dogs, however we can provide our highly trained and experienced hunting dogs, if requested.

What weapon to use: Shotguns are used for this type of hunt. Which type of shotgun is your choice! You can be successful with single shots, pump, semi-auto, or double barrels.

The Pheasant: Perhaps the most widely-recognized upland game bird in the world. Large, beautiful, and vibrant in color these birds also provide quality meat. They often sneak ahead of advancing hunters and can be challenging for a pointing dog too pin. Their long tail feathers create a large silhouette combined with a boisterous flush can make for a challenging target.

The Chukar: Brown-gray with a black strip running across their head, through the eye, and down onto the check. Their bills and feet are red, and their sides have white and black barring. Chukar are among one of the most challenging birds to hunt because they have a habit of running uphill, typically faster than a hunter can follow, and fly downhill at high speeds. Starting uphill and having a dog is very beneficial.
